Join Emily as she sheds light on the power of the Leo New Moon. Celebrate the arrival of the new moon by engaging in a yoga practice designed to honor and embrace the moons powerful energy. The New Moon encourages us to plant the seeds we want to see blossom in our lives. The fact that the energy of the moon is powerful enough to literally move the mighty ocean ( and the mighty Hudson! ) is something to take note of. We, too, can use the energies of the lunar phases in our lives to bring about great change. When we sync our lives to the lunar cycle, we are setting ourselves up for pure magic. We begin to realize that we have the power within to manifest the life of our dreams.
You can expect supported restful poses, breath work, and extended savasana with a guided meditation.

Yoga of 12 Step Recovery (Y12SR) is an empirically-informed program, which combines the wisdom of yoga with the practical tools of 12 step programs to address the physical, mental, and spiritual elements of addiction.

Past Workshops

Join Emily Rose, certified Yoga4Cancer facilitator, for an evening of yoga. We will start in the yoga room with a brief introduction to the y4c methodology and an experiential practice. Learn ways to modify the practice of yoga to suit your body's needs. Then we'll head into the salt cave to explore breath work and meditation techniques while soaking up the benefits of dry salt therapy.

yoga4cancer (y4c) is a research based, specialized yoga
methodology addressing the specific physical and emotional needs left by cancer and its treatments. Because all yoga is not the same, finding the right yoga teacher is the best first step. Classes are taught with knowledge and awareness of the special needs of cancer patients and survivors.

Join us for a night of deep restoration in the cave. When your life is racing full-speed ahead, so is your mind. Restorative yoga helps provide that physical and mental balance to prevent stress and anxiety, through the use of props that allow you to hold poses longer, giving you all the benefits of deep, passive stretching.

 

Treat yourself to 45 minutes of deep relaxation. Restore yourself because you can't pour from an empty cup!

Celebrate your ability to give and receive love on February 17th, with this 90 minute heart awareness practice. This workshop is designed to open the upper back, the chest and the heart area. We'll investigate the common ideas associated with the heart energy center and learn how to open & protect our hearts through a focused yoga practice and guided meditation. On a more subtle level, we will try and let go of the armour we put on every day to face the world, working towards allowing ourselves to feel honest about who we are, our vulnerabilities and, above all, responding to it all with kindness. Enjoy the atmospheric ambient soundscape tuning into the frequency of the heart chakra with a live performance by OAM. Everyone welcome. No experience needed.
